Can’t afford to pay your utility bill? Help is here.

PAGE—which stands for Payment Assistance for Gas and Electric—is a state-funded utility assistance program that helps low to moderate-income families in New Jersey pay their utility bills.

Administered by the Affordable Housing Alliance, the PAGE program is funded by the Board of Public Utilities (BPU) and is a financial assistance program designed to help households across the state of New Jersey who are experiencing economic hardship and struggling to pay their electric and natural gas bills.

Who can take part in the PAGE program?

If you are a New Jersey resident who rents or owns a home, are facing a crisis situation that includes a documented notice of an overdue balance of more than $100 for gas and/or electric service, and receive that service from a public utility—

you may qualify.

The AHA has partnered with affiliate agencies in different counties to assist local clients in completing the application process.
